In this updated version of the well-known fairy tale, Jack and her mother live on Garden Street in the shadow of a huge tower owned by The Man who runs Beanstalk Corp. Jack climbs the beanstalk to ask The Man for a donation to her mother’s charity, but can’t even get a meeting with him – until it turns out that Jack has something The Man wants. When Jack and The Man finally meet, they realize that they are not so different after all. Cow Over Moon’s Jack & the Beanstalk will address concepts of greed and charity, the importance of community, and understanding that what really matters, money can’t buy.
